Futures Division (League Age 4)
The Futures Division (formerly Rookie) is our entry-level program designed specifically for 4-year-olds new to baseball. Players are introduced to the game in a fun, energetic, and nurturing environment that prioritizes physical activity, social interaction, and developing motor skills.
Practices are short, engaging, and game-based.
Emphasis is on movement, teamwork, and listening.
Coaches lead all in-game instruction “on the field”.
No official scores, standings or postseason play.
T-Ball Division (League Age 5)
T-Ball builds on the foundation laid in Futures or serves as a great starting point for first-time 5-year-old players. Players hit from a tee and begin learning the basic flow of a game, including base running, fielding, and throwing.
Coaches lead all in-game instruction “on the field”.
Every player bats each inning, and defensive rotations are encouraged.
No official scores, standings or postseason play.
Prospects Division (League Ages 6–7)
This division introduces coach pitch while offering tee rescue to build confidence at the plate. It’s designed for returning players or beginners at this age who are ready for more structure and challenge.
Players learn batting stance, glove work, field positioning, and game flow.
Batters face coach-pitched balls and transition toward faster decision-making.
Games begin to introduce outs and inning limits.
No official scores, standings or postseason play.
Note: 7 year old players new to Granada Little League will be placed in the prospect division.
Farm Division (League Ages 7–8)
Farm bridges the gap between introductory divisions and competitive play. The first half of the season is coach pitch, while the second half introduces kid pitch in a low-pressure setting.
Kids begin pitching, learning strike zones, and handling live game scenarios.
Defensive players begin understanding positions and responsibilities.
Field awareness and teamwork take priority.

Single A (Minors) Division (League Ages 8–9)
Single A is a hybrid division that blends coach pitch and player pitch depending on game situations. It’s the first division with evaluations and drafts, preparing players for structured team placement.
Players begin learning how to pitch to hitters and make in-game decisions.
Situational awareness and skill consistency are emphasized.
9 year old players not selected by a AA team will be allocated spots in this division, Remaining spots to be filled by 8 year old players based on manager evaluations.
No official scores, standings or postseason play.
AA (Minors) Division (League Ages 9–10)
AA is the first full player-pitch division, where players pitch all innings and assume full defensive roles. The emphasis shifts toward competitive gameplay while continuing skill development.
Players learn pitch counts, walks, strikeouts, and base stealing rules.
Coaches begin to step back, letting players take more control of the game.
10 year old players not selected by a AAA team will be allocated spots in this division, Remaining spots to be filled by 9 year old players based on manager evaluations.
No season standings, Playoffs determine a Division Champion, with seeding by random draw.
Division Champion will represent GLL by competing in District level post season play.
AAA (Minors) Division (League Ages 10–11)
AAA prepares players for Majors-level baseball with full rules, competitive strategy, and emphasis on team roles. Players are evaluated and drafted, and teams play with standard Little League structure.
Emphasis on pitch command, defensive execution, and situational hitting.
Players are expected to know field positions, signs, and game flow.
11 year old players not selected by a Major team will be allocated spots in this division, Remaining spots to be filled by 10 year old players based on manager evaluations.
Playoffs determine a champion, with seeding based on regular season standings.
Division Champion will represent GLL by competing in District level post season play.
Majors Division (League Ages 11–12)
The Majors Division is the pinnacle of Little League's core program. Players face strong competition, take on leadership roles, and play at a high level. Development continues in all areas—mental, emotional, and physical.
All 12 year old players will be allocated spots in this division, Remaining spots to be filled by 11 year old players based on manager evaluations.
Playoffs determine a champion, with seeding based on regular season standings.
Division Champion will represent GLL by competing in post season play at the district level with the potential to advance to international play and the Little League World Series.
